Sometimes it happens that you need to reset your Skype password. There are some steps for you to take in order to change your forgotten or lost Skype password.
- Follow the link to the official Skype site https://login.skype.com/account/password-reset-request
- Insert your registered email address in the corresponding form.
- Press the Submit button.
- Get a temporary code link via your registered email.
- Use the temporary code on the Skype official website.
- When asked, type a new password and then insert it again to confirm.
- If you have several accounts, you will see a drop-down menu where you should choose a username of the account which password you want to reset.
- Change your password and sign in.
- Keep in mind that the password reset token will be valid only for 6 hours after it was sent.
