Cons:
The software is flawed, the features of version 5.X are not working in 6.X. It forces people to find, install and use a potentially malicious program. It would be more secure if devs kept functionality with every release.

I like this software but it takes a long time to install.

Good software for chatting with friends and families. As I can rely on this for communicating my friends and the family while abroad. I am quite happy with the performances. But sometimes the software is not error free as it can not be heard on other side. iPhone apps seem to show user online everytime even though the user is not connected. The user interface is good in Skype.
